85 questions to ask your frontline team about your workplace training

For workplace sales training to be effective, it needs to be favoured by your frontline employees. If they don’t find your learning methods relevant, effective or interesting, you will struggle to see results. Aside from poor performance, you could also notice a negative effect on your attrition rates, with 40% of employees willing to leave a company within the first year if the employee training methods aren’t up to their standards.

Providing frontline employees with training is the first step to improving your company’s performance but actually getting them to engage with it is another thing. Sales associates are one of the most challenging groups of employees to connect with because they are constantly on the move, if they’re not busy getting on with their work, they’re dealing with customers to ensure the smooth running of your business.

Building training content that engages them requires constant optimisation and monitoring. Doing so will ensure your approach to learning is one that they find useful.

This is why it’s essential that you ask the right questions to make sure you’re getting an insight into what your frontline workers really want. You don’t need to ask all of the following questions, just select ones which fit well for your business and are relevant to your training programmes.
